THE LONG WALK - DAY ONE

Nearly there
In all we walked 15 miles today - and are looking forward to tomorrow (Trescott to Mitton 15 miles). We finished a little later than expected, partly due to a late start and partly because we took a wrong turn near the end!

    Shame about the wrong turning near the end, but otherwise it looked like a good day's walking in lovely countryside. Those poppies looked spectacular. Fingers crossed for further good weather tomorrow.
